Police arrest sex assault suspect

On Thursday, May 11, 2023, Coquitlam RCMP’s Investigational Support Team (IST) arrested the suspect who is believed to have sexually assaulted two females in Coquitlam. Police had previously asked for the public’s assistance, on May 9, 2023, in identifying the suspect of these sex assaults which were reported the day prior.

We would like to thank the public for their assistance in identifying this individual, said Media Relations Officer for Coquitlam RCMP, Corporal Alexa Hodgins. The information provided from the public will continue to aid our officers as they continue the investigation.

The suspect remains in custody pending their next court appearance.
