Suspicious deaths in Dawson Creek confirmed to be homicides

The BC RCMP Major Crime Section (MCS) continues to investigate after two people were found deceased inside a Dawson Creek home.

On January 14, 2023 the Dawson Creek RCMP attended a residence in the 1200 Block of 118th Avenue where two people, both deceased, were located. The deaths initially appeared suspicious and the BC RCMP MCS was brought in to investigate.

The deaths have since been confirmed to be homicides.

While no arrests have yet been made, police continue to gather evidence and progress the investigation forward. We urge any individual with information to come forward to the RCMP, says Superintendent Sanjaya Wijayakoon of the BC RCMP MCS.
