Warrant issued for violent offender

The Nanaimo RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in locating 38-year-old Peter Alexander of Nanaimo, who is wanted on an outstanding warrant from Port Alberni, and is involved in several ongoing criminal investigations in Nanaimo.

The Port Alberni warrant stems from an incident in early February of 2022 in which Alexander was found to be in possession of a quantity of illegal drugs and a replica handgun. He was later released from custody but failed to comply with his release conditions, resulting in a warrant being issued for his arrest.

Alexander is actively involved in criminal activity in Nanaimo and throughout central Vancouver Island, and should also be considered violent. Peter Alexander is a Caucasian man, 5 ft. 10, 150 pounds with dark brown hair and blue eyes. The picture provided is recent.
