On November 16, 2022, at 5:12 p.m. frontline Trail and Greater District RCMP officers responded to a complaint of voyeurism occurring at the Beaver Valley Arena, in Fruitvale, BC.

A parent reported the incident to the RCMP when it was discovered that an employee, a 21-year-old Trail man, had allegedly set up his cell phone to record video footage of youths inside the women’s changing room. Trail RCMP will forward one count of Voyeurism contrary to Section 162 of the Criminal Code to Provincial Crown Counsel. The 21-year-old man will make his first appearance on February 23, 2023, in Provincial Court, in Rossland, BC.

I would ilke to commend the girls for their actions and notifying a parent immediately. Trail RCMP will conduct a thorough investigation.
