Police are asking for help to identify a woman whole stole a backpack.

Sometime just before midnight on September 4, 2022, an unknown female stole a grey Hurley brand backpack from a business in the 4300 block of Main St., and the theft was captured on the business’ surveillance video.

The woman stole the backpack when the complainant was facing away from her. During the theft, a second woman was with the first.

Woman with light/fair complexion, brown long wavy hair, wearing a brown hat, dark blue shirt, beige shorts; second woman light/fiar complexion, brown straight hair, wearing black top and black pants.

Contents in the backpack included protein supplements, Ray Ban sunglasses, and some other personal items.

While the value of stolen goods is not significant in the big picture, no one should have their things stolen, says Corporal Angela Kermer of the Sea to Sky RCMP.
