Early morning at Simms Park in Courtenay
On July 2, 2022 at 5:35 a.m. frontline members were called to Simms Park in Courtenay for a disturbance after an early morning runner encountered two people having a heated argument. If you saw the people arguing or were one of the people involved, please call Comox Valley RCMP at (250) 338-1321 and refer to file 2022-9785.

On July 10th, 2022 at approximately 2:30 a.m. several vehicles were left with significant damage after two suspects poured oil all over the driver/passenger seats and the centre console or coated the interior of the vehicle with a white powdery paint. This appears to be a random, completely absurd, act of mischief, said Cst. Monika Terragni, Media Relations Officer, Comox Valley RCMP. We are looking for assistance to identify one of these suspects so that we can follow up accordingly.
