Fargo has worked in Kamloops as a police dog for the last five years with his handler and partner, Corporal Steve Prior. Before coming to BC, the team worked together in Newfoundland. Fargo has been with the RCMP since he was born at the RCMP Police Dog Service Training Centre in Innisfail, Alberta.

The hard-working police dog started his day with a special birthday bagel before embarking on a full training session to keep up his skills as a member of the Southeast District’s Emergency Response Team.

As Fargo matures in his police dog career, this summer will be his last with the RCMP. He plans to enjoy a healthy and happy retirement in September.
