Mother asks: Have you seen Caitlin Potts?

It has been more than a month since friends and family had any contact with Caitlin Potts on February 22nd, 2016.

Caitlin was reported missing to the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP on March 1st, 2016. 

Caitlin is known to travel throughout BC and Alberta, but her lack of communication with her friends and family is unusual.

The Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP will continue to investigate Caitlin’s disappearance until her current whereabouts are known. Family and the Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP need to know that she is safe and sound, says Cst Jocelyn Noseworthy of the Vernon RCMP.

Caitlin’s family is appealing to anyone with information about Caitlin to contact police.

Mother’s statement

Hello my name is Priscilla Potts. I am the mother of Caitlin Brandy Potts.

Caitlin was reported missing to Vernon RCMP at the beginning of March after friends and family had last heard from her on February 22nd.

Caitlin is originally from Alberta but had moved to British Columbia in the fall of 2015.

Myself and the rest of Caitlin’s family have not heard from her since February and we are very worried.

Caitlin is 27 years old and leads a socially active life. Her lack of online communication with friends and loved ones is out of character for my daughter.

We believe that someone must have information about Caitlin and perhaps know where she is right now. We also need to hear from anyone who may have had contact with her or have seen her since she was last heard from on February 22nd.

I miss my daughter, not hearing from her has caused me a lot of worry and grief as any parent can understand. We simply need to hear from her so that we know she is okay.
