Volunteer Opportunities
If You Have:
- 6 hours a year - Organize a Block Watch on your block or in your building. Neighbors looking after neighbors to help reduce the incidence of property crime, such as break-ins, property damage and auto crime. Please call the Block Watch coordinator at 604-532-3213.
- 4 hours a month - Join Speed Watch. Volunteers monitor the speed of traffic in School and Park Zones as well as other "problem areas" to reduce incidents of speeding. The program also collects data for the RCMP Traffic Department. Call 604-532-3212 or drop in to your local Community Police Office
- 7 hours a month - Join the Citizens Patrol. RCMP trained patrol volunteers observe and report suspicious activity using radio communication and observation equipment. Be the "Eyes and Ears" for RCMP; call 604-532-3212. Applications are available at your local Community Police Office
