About Coquitlam RCMP
The Coquitlam RCMP proudly provides policing service to: Coquitlam, Port Coquitlam, Village of Anmore, Village of Belcarra and kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation. What We Do
From 24/7 patrol and emergency response to proactive and regional policing, our team is always working to create safer, healthier, more vibrant neighbourhoods. On average, we handle between 40,000 and 50,000 calls each year ranging from reports of lost or found property to life and death emergencies and everything in between.
To manage this dynamic and demanding mandate we work hard to develop partnerships and innovative approaches that make us more proactive, more effective and more connected to the people we serve.
Who We Are

The Coquitlam RCMP team is made up of sworn police officers, civilian members of the RCMP, municipal staff and hundreds of volunteers serving the communities of Anmore, Belcarra, Coquitlam and Port Coquitlam and the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm First Nation.
Together we serve a diverse population of almost 200,000 spread over an area that includes everything from provincial parks and beach areas to dense residential neighbourhoods and active retail, commercial and industrial zones.
We are the third largest RCMP detachment in Canada and the fourth largest municipal police agency in Metro Vancouver.
