Break and enter arrest

On the morning of March 29th, 2023, the Osoyoos RCMP were notified of a break and enter recently occurring at a residence under construction on Eagle Point.

A witness was able to provide officers with a description of the suspect and the vehicle used, which resulted in officers confirming their identity.

RCMP in Midway, BC, located a property they believed the suspect was. With the assistance of the BC Southeast District Emergency Response Team, a 37-year-old man from Greenwood, BC, was safely taken into custody.

The man faces charges of break and enter, theft, and failing to comply with his probation order.
