For the period of March 20 to June 20, 2022 Lillooet RCMP officers attended 694 calls for service, compared to 541 calls during the same period in 2021, and 442 calls in 2020. Please see our Winter 2021/2022 summary.
Downton Park (also known as Museum Park) was a focal point for Lillooet RCMP this Spring. Alcohol use in the park is a known issue. Police continue to make regular patrols at the park, and take enforcement actions under the Liquor Control and Licensing Act. Lillooet RCMP had 43 recorded attendances at Downton Park this spring. The majority of those being pro-active patrols of the park engaging with park users, checking for open alcohol and public intoxication.

Lillooet RCMP kept busy this Spring participating in various community events. These included the opening of the East Lillooet Memorial Gardens; Lillooet Secondary School recognition of the Declaration of the Lillooet Tribe Day; Lillooet Off-Road Cycling Association bike rodeo; and a visit to Cayoosh Strong Start.
