Fort St John RCMP recover stolen tools.

On Tuesday, June 1, 2021, the Fort St John RCMP were approached by a suspect who was turning themselves in to confess to a string of thefts from motor vehicles in the Fort St John and Dawson Creek areas.

While attending the detachment to confess, the suspect brought with them a variety of tools that had been stolen. Only one of these tools could be positively identified and was returned to the rightful owner.

If you have had tools taken from a vehicle in the Fort St John or Dawson Creek areas, please contact the Fort St John RCMP detachment at (250) 787-8140. You will be required to provide a detailed description including but not limited to specific markings, serial numbers or other unique identifying marks. If they are found to match the description of one of the tools returned, you may able to have this returned to you.
