Maple Ridge, B.C. – Ridge Meadows RCMP is seeking public assistance in identifying an alleged arson suspect in an incident that occurred earlier this month.

On June 8, 2024, at approximately 4:40 a.m., Ridge Meadows RCMP frontline members received and responded to a report of a wooden patio engulfed in flames at a local business in the 11900 block of 224 Street of Maple Ridge. Maple Ridge Fire Department (MRFD) also attended and extinguished the fire.

On June 8, 2024, at 4:40 a.m., we responded to a patio fire at a local restaurant in the 11900 block of 224 Street."

We reviewed video surveillance and identified a potential suspect. Here’s what we know:
The suspect is described as a

• Medium build
• With Light brown hair"

A review of video surveillance shows a suspect fleeing the area northbound towards Dewdney Trunk Road.

The suspect is described as a:

white nike high top sneakers black jacket with white graphic
