Richmond RCMP investigating pedestrian fatality

At approximately 6:00 am on October 14, 2023 Richmond RCMP responded to the 7000 block of Granville Avenue for a collision involving a pedestrian.

The pedestrian was transported to a local area hospital but unfortunately succumbed to her injuries.

The driver remained on scene and is cooperating with police.

Richmond RCMP Criminal Collision Investigation Team (CCIT) and Integrated Collision Analysis and Reconstruction Service (ICARS) were on scene investigating.

Richmond RCMP CCIT have conduct of the investigation. Impairment is not considered a factor in this collision.
