Since the original release, all three vehicles have been recovered. The investigation remains ongoing.

Kamloops police are hoping the public can help identify a suspect in an investigation involving the theft of three vehicles.

The suspect is described as: Caucasian male, shaved head, trimmed beard.

On Oct. 16, 2023, around 10:10 a.m., Kamloops RCMP frontline officers were called to a commercial location on the 900-block of Notre Dame Drive, where three vehicles had been discovered stolen over the weekend. According to the investigation so far, the vehicles were parked near the intersection of Notre Dame Drive and taken one at a time, on Sunday afternoon.

Security video in the area captured an image of a man police believe to be a suspect in the ongoing investigation, said Corporal Crystal Evelyn, Kamloops RCMP spokesperson. We are releasing his picture to the public with the hope that someone will recognize him and call the detachment to help further the investigation.

The stolen vehicles included a blue 2021 Jeep Compass; green 2021 Jeep Wrangler; and a silver 2019 Dodge Ram Sport Rebel Crew Cab pickup truck. The Dodge Ram was recovered by police on Monday Oct. 16, around 2 p.m. in the alleyway between Fairview and Larch avenues.

Those with information related to this investigation, including possible sightings of any of the vehicles, suspect, or the Dodge Ram’s appearance in the alleyway, are asked to please contact the Kamloops RCMP Detachment at 250-828-3000 and reference file 2023-37360.
