Police hope to reunite watch, cash and a purse with their owners

Coquitlam RCMP is asking for the public’s assistance in reuniting found property to their rightful owners.
Found property is routinely turned in to local police stations in the hopes of reuniting them with their owners. Police attempt to locate the owners through the course of an investigation, but sometimes can not reunite the items.

Police recovered an envelope of cash on the ground near Sugarpine Court and Plateau Boulevard in Coquitlam on Thursday, July 27, 2023. The money is believed to have been dropped accidently by its owner.

On Tuesday, August 1, 2023 a gold faceplate watch with a black leather band was provided to the police from staff at the Hard Rock Casino located at 2081 United Boulevard in Coquitlam. The watch was lost within the casino and turned over to the police in an attempt to locate the owner.

Police recovered a small black Kate Spade backpack from Safeway located at 580 Clark Road in Coquitlam on Tuesday, August 8, 2023. The backpack was reported to have been left in the store sometime in the last month.
All claimants would be required to prove ownership to police prior to the items being returned. Anyone with information about these recovered items are asked to contact the Coquitlam RCMP at 604-945-1550.
