
Police asking for public’s assistance in identifying robbery suspect

Coquitlam RCMP is releasing the image of a suspect in connection to a robbery at a local Church’s Chicken in an effort to identify the individual.
On December 11, 2020, at 1:42 a.m., Coquitlam RCMP responded to a report of a robbery just committed at the Church’s Chicken located at #5-555 North Road in Coquitlam. Police have learned that a female entered the restaurant with her hands in her pockets, walked up to the cash register indicating she had a gun and demanded money.
"The female suspect fled the store on foot with an undisclosed amount of cash, says Cst. Deanna Law, Media Relations Officer for the Coquitlam RCMP. No employee’s or patrons were physically injured during the incident. Police are releasing images of the female suspect in hopes that the public can aid in identifying her and advance the criminal investigation

The female suspect is described as:
- A Caucasian female,
- Heavy set,
- 30 to 40-years-old,
- Blonde to light brown hair,
- 5’8 (173 cm),
- Wearing black track pants, a black hoodie with
Mud Brothers
logo, white runners, and a black non-medical mask.
