Multiple Firearms Stolen from local business

The police are seeking public assistance to identify the suspects after a number of firearms were stolen from a business overnight.
In the early morning hours on May 17, 2023, the Creston RCMP responded to a report of a break and enter at a local business on the 1000 block of Canyon Street. The unknown suspects fled the scene prior to police arrival, but it was discovered that multiple firearms had been stolen along with ammunition. The scene was processed for additional evidence with the assistance of Cranbrook Forensic Identification Services (FIS).
All necessary resources, including RCMP support services like FIS, are actively engaged to identify the suspects and secure these stolen weapons,

Anyone with any information or dashcam footage from the area between 3:00 am to 5:30 am is asked to call the Creston RCMP at 250-428-9313 or remain anonymous by calling Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-TIPS (8477).
