West Shore RCMP has partnered up with Project 529, an online bike registration program that allows you to register your bike for free. Currently there are thousands of bikes registered in the Capital Regional District via Project 529.
Project 529 allows police officers from all over the CRD and beyond to search the registry for lost or stolen bikes and get them back to the rightful owner.

If you registered your bike with West Shore RCMP Prior to January 9, 2025. You will be receiving a letter in the mail letting you know about the switch over to this new bike registration program. West Shore RCMP will archive the bike registration data you provided to us prior to Jan 9, 2025 for a period of 2 years after which it will be destroyed.
If you wish to keep your bike registered with West Shore RCMP you must re-register it via the link above. We apologize for any inconvenience this switch has caused.
