BC RCMP welcomes Troop #11 of Experienced Police Officers

On January 9, 2025, the BC RCMP welcomed 20 experienced police officers from police services nation-wide into the RCMP family.

As these officers already bring with them a wealth of knowledge and skill, they will attend a three-week onboarding for orientation to the RCMP in February 2025 at the Pacific Region Training Centre in Chilliwack. The comprehensive training includes courses in RCMP interviewing techniques, policy and procedures and tactical training. The officers will report to their first posting at the end of February

- Nelson Rural Frontline Policing
- 100 Mile House Frontline Policing
- Kelowna Frontline Policing
- Langley Frontline Policing
- Kamloops Frontline Policing
- Westshore Frontline Policing
- Coquitlam Frontline Policing
- Explosive Disposal Unit
- Federal Serious Organized Crime (3)
- Lower Mainland Emergency Response Team (6)
- Integrated Municipal Provincial Auto Crime Team
