Drugs, weapons and cash seized by West Shore RCMP Bike Patrol Unit

On October 11 2024, officers from West Shore RCMP Bike Patrol Unit with assistance from the Crime Reduction Unit and Frontline officers, executed a search warrant on a residence in Langford which led to police seizing drugs, weapons, and cash.
Bike Patrol Unit officers conducted the investigation into alleged drug trafficking taking place out of the Langford residence.
The search warrant resulted in police seizing numerous pieces of evidence related to drug trafficking including the following:
- Approximately 583 grams of suspected Cocaine;
- Approximately 95 grams of suspected Fentanyl;
- Approximately 111 grams of suspected Methamphetamine;
- Approximately 29 grams of suspected Ketamine;
- Approximately 13 grams of suspected MDMA;
- Approximately 2 grams of suspected Benzodiazepines;
- Approximately 150 pills of suspected Hydromorphone;
- Approximately 50 pills of suspected Methadone;
- Drug trafficking and packaging materials like buffering agents, weigh scales, small bags etc.;
- Just over $1500 cash.

Police also seized 3 conducted energy weapons along with numerous cartridges, and a pair of nun-chucks. Conducted Energy Weapons and nun-chucks are prohibited weapons in Canada.
Police are continuing their investigation and will be forwarding a detailed report to Crown Counsel for consideration of criminal charges.
