Three suspects identified and arrested in stabbing investigation

Surrey RCMP is advising the public that three suspects who were involved in an alleged stabbing of a woman have been identified and arrested.

On October 6, 2024 at 12:30 am, Surrey RCMP responded to report of an assault that occurred in the 10200-block of University Drive. (See Previous release: Surrey RCMP - Police seeking witnesses after a woman assaulted (rcmp-grc.gc.ca).

On October 16, 2024, Surrey RCMP shared photos and video of the three suspects who allegedly assaulted a woman and stabbed her. (This release has been unpublished as the suspects have been identified).

On October 16, 2024, the three suspects turned themselves in to the Surrey RCMP. All three have been identified and arrested. Two suspects were arrested for assault and one was arrested for assault with a weapon, aggravated assault and possession of a weapon for dangerous purpose. The photos and video of suspects have been removed from our website.

All three suspects are youth and were released on conditions. The investigation remains ongoing to complete a report to BC Prosecution Services for charge recommendation.
