BC Highway Patrol looking for dash cam video after a major collision in the Massey Tunnel

Officers with BC Highway Patrol need your help as they investigate a major collision in the Massey Tunnel that shut down traffic for over three hours on October 15, 2024.

A collision between a white Toyota Sienna and a white Mazda 3 shut down traffic for over three hours.

The collision happened at 3:45 p.m. when a white Toyota Sienna and a white Mazda 3 went head-on while one of the northbound lanes was being used as a counterflow, says Corporal Michael McLaughlin with BC Highway Patrol. Anyone who saw the collision, or has dash cam video of the events leading up to the collision, is asked to call BC Highway Patrol as soon as possible.

Both drivers were alone in their respective vehicles at the time of the collision and both had non-life-altering injuries.
