Currently at West Shore RCMP we have two civilian employees, Shania and James who both graduated from the Indigenous Pre-Cadet Program and are working with the West Shore RCMP team.

The experiences gained through this program led me to working with West Shore RCMP. The connections I have made through the program and the West Shore RCMP community have been invaluable"- Shania Luna, 2022 Indigenous Pre-Cadet Program graduate.

The Indigenous Pre-Cadet Program took me from wondering if a career in policing was right for me, to knowing it’s what I want to do. – James Lieph, 2023 Indigenous Pre-Cadet Program graduate.
