Maple Ridge, B.C. – On September 16, 1974, thirty-two woman from across Canada made history as the first female officers sworn into the RCMP, forming Troop 17. This ground-breaking event paved the way for gender equality within national law enforcement.

Ridge Meadows RCMP would like to celebrate this milestone, by calling out to all artists and creative persons between the ages of 5-16 years old. We would love some help bringing some colour, with your artistic abilities, into the Maple Ridge Detachment and Pitt Meadows Community Policing Office.

**Update- Contest has been extended, all entries must be submitted no later than September 30, 2024.**
