Langley RCMP is advising of a motor vehicle collision that occurred on August 9, 2024 in the 5000 block of 208 Street in Langley.
On August 9, 2024 at approximately 11:20 am, a Langley RCMP officer was conducting traffic enforcement in the 5000 block of 208 Street when the police officer was struck by a vehicle. The suspect vehicle fled the scene heading northbound on 208th Street.
The area around 50th Avenue and 208th Street will remain closed while the Langley RCMP continue their investigation.
The police officer was transported to hospital with what are believed to be non-life threatening injuries.
