Terrace RCMP continue seizures of drugs and weapons

On June 16, 2024, members of the Terrae RCMP conducted patrols in a camp near Substation Road and Queensway Drive. Numerous people were in the camp and were arrested after police observed quantities of drugs, knives and cash, as shown below. No owner of the drugs and knives was determined and as such, items are to be disposed of. This file remains open while police determine legal ownership of the cash.

On June 27, 2024, a suspicious vehicle was seen parked in the area of Substation Road and Queensway Drive. Officers conducted a traffic stop with the vehicle and upon interacting with the occupants, illegal drugs were observed. Occupants of the vehicle were arrested for possession of drugs and the vehicle was subsequently searched, which resulted in seizure of drug trafficking paraphernalia. No charges are being forwarded at this time as ownership of the items could not be determined.
