Special focus for May – High risk driving and speed awareness:

May marks the observance of High Risk Driving and Speed Awareness Month. This initiative is part of a broader, province-wide campaign aiming to mitigate speeding and aggressive driving behaviours that significantly contribute to road incidents. Multiple special enforcement operations will be occurring over the course of the month to educate drivers on road safety.

Enhancing road safety is a collaborative effort that extends beyond law enforcement, says Sergeant Eric Baskette, RSU. This May, we have intensified our efforts to remind everyone of the critical role they play in protecting not only their lives but also those of other road users. The RSU encourages all residents and drivers in Richmond to stay informed through our monthly reports and to participate actively in making our roads safer.
