Port McNeill schools donate to Cram the Cruiser

The Port McNeill schools show generosity with their donations for the RCMP Cram the Cruiser event!

The Port McNeill RCMP wish to report a tremendous amount of donations received today in advance of the Cram the Cruiser event scheduled for December 9th. Students and staff at Cheslakees Elementary, Sunset Elementary and North Island Secondary School donated non-perishable items for the local food bank. Local officers and staff attended to all three schools to interact with the students, and loaded up the impressive haul of donated items. This annual event draws excellent support, and creates goodwill throughout the community.

Our officers and staff are fortunate to work and live in such a generous community, stated Corporal Spencer Mylymok. It’s always a pleasure to interact with positive youth in the community. This event helps us all connect with people in need, and we love being a part of it.
