Fort St John RCMP investigating early morning report of shots fired

On May 30, 2023, at 5:52am, the Fort St John RCMP received a report of shots fired in the area of 104A Avenue and 112th Street.
Frontline police officers attended and located shell casings in the area.
There are no reports or indication of anyone sustaining any injuries at this time.
Fort St John RCMP have detained numerous persons of interest.
"The Fort St John RCMP takes threats of gun violence very seriously and the investigation will be ongoing", said Constable Chad Neustaeter. "If anyone saw anything, has surveillance or dash cam video of the incident and has not yet spoken to police, please call us."
